Two men were charged with murder Tuesday in the shooting that killed a person and injured at least 22 others after a parade celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl win last week.

Dominic Miller of Kansas City and Lyndell Mays of Raytown, Mo., face charges of second-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of armed criminal action, prosecutors said in a news release.

Mays was arrested over the weekend, and Miller was arrested Monday night, said Michael Mansur, a spokesperson for Jackson County Prosecutor Jean Peters Baker (D).

It was unclear whether Mays and Miller had retained attorneys as of Tuesday afternoon. Both are being held on a $1 million bond, according to the news release.

Both men attended Wednesday’s parade and rally, where gunfire erupted after a personal dispute, officials said.

The volley of gunshots rang out shortly after Chiefs players and staffers had given speeches to a crowd of thousands of people at Kansas City’s Union Station.

Elizabeth “Lisa” Lopez-Galvan, 43, was killed in the shooting, according to KKFI, the radio station where she played Tejano music as a DJ. Her son was shot in the leg, among the more than 20 who were injured.

Two juveniles were charged Thursday with gun-related offenses and resisting arrest, The Washington Post reported. Three had been taken into custody — including one who was tackled by a Chiefs fan — before one was released.
