Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal, who are one of the adorable couples in the film industry, today announced that they are expecting thier first child. The actor tied the knot with his childhood friend in 2021. After three years of marriage, the couple are going to embrace parenthood soon.

The couple share a black and white picture in which Varun can be seen kissing Natasha’s baby bump, while couple’s dog Joey can be seated on a chair. The duo can be seen twinning in white outfits.

Taking to Instagram today, Varun shared the post, saying “We are pregnant”. He also urged everyone for their blessings and love and added a red heart emoji.

Meanwhile, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple tied the knot in Alibaug in the presence of a small circle of family and friends in 2021. The couple dated eachother for 7 years before getting married.

On the work front, Varun was last seen in Bawaal alongside Janhvi Kapoor. Next he will be seen in Raj and Dkhelmed film Atlee’s Baby John and Indian version of Citadel with Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead.

The last rites of Jain muni Acharya Vidhyasagar Maharaj were performed on Sunday in Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandgaon and a large number of people paid tribute to the departed seer.

On his demise, former Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel expressed his condolence and called it a huge loss to the country.

Speaking to reporters, Baghel added that he has had the opportunity to take Darshan of Maharaj ji during Navratri.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also expressed his condolence on the demise of Maharaj Ji. PM Modi in a post on X, said that the next generation will remember him for his priceless contributions to society, particularly his work toward spiritual awakening among people, his work towards poverty alleviation, healthcare, education, and more.

PM Modi further said that, for years, he had the privilege of receiving his blessings. One of his favourite memories from last year was visiting the Chandragiri Jain Mandir in Dongargarh, Chhattisgarh, he added. He also recalled his memory from last year, the PM said, he spent time with Acharya Shri 108 Vidhyasagar Ji Maharaj Ji at that time, and he also had his blessings, PM Modi further added that.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief JP Nadda also expressed his disbelief after learning of Saint Shiromani Acharya Shri 108 Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj’s passing.

Nadda wrote in Hindi, that he had added fresh layers to the priceless spiritual legacy of Jainism. His wisdom, kindness, and compassion-filled teachings will always give us direction for the advancement of culture and society.

Meanwhile, within the Digambar Jain community, the most popular saint was Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj. He was widely regarded for his exceptional academic achievements and deep spiritual understanding.

On October 10, 1946, Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj was born in Sadalga, Karnataka. He adopted spirituality at an early age. In 1968, at the age of 22, Acharya Gyansagar Ji Maharaj initiated Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Maharaj as a Digambara monk. He was promoted to the rank of Acharya in 1972.

In Bihar’s Nawgachhia, a group of angry people on Sunday allegedly attacked police personnel and journalist following the recovery of the body of woman nearly two days after she went missing.

Furthermore, the angry mob set fire to a police vehicle and assaulted journalists who were on the scene to report the news. Two journalists were harmed severely in the attack.

According to local reports, the situation escalated rapidly when villagers, upon discovering that the body of Shobha Devi, the daughter of Kamleshwari Mandal, had been found, accused the police of inaction. Devi had been missing since February 16 after she left home to deliver milk in Dakshinbadi Tola.

Despite her family’s desperate pleas, it seemed that no one listened until it was too late. The mob’s grief and anger reached its breaking point, causing them to set police vehicles ablaze and physically assault officers and journalists.

The surrounding was charged with unease as the police, who were outnumbered and under attack, had to resort to firing shots in the air to control the chaotic mob and restore order.

The injured were rushed to primary health centers and referral hospitals, highlighting the physical toll of the day’s events. 

Senior police officials arrived at the scene and managed to calm the situation down. According to a statement by the police, an investigation has been initiated, and individuals have been questioned.

Police further said that they have been camping in the area until the situation returns to normalcy. Police have been trying to recover the body of the woman. Local SDO and DSP were deployed for the task in that matter, the SP Nawgachhia, Puran Kumar Jha, said while speaking with the media.

In another incident from Bihar, three officers on-duty including a woman inspector were attacked by mob during an inspection to check the illegal sand mining.

The local police had seized as many as 50 vehicles involved in the illegal sand mining and had registered an FIR against 44 people.
