While talking to the media during the 'Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra' in Uttar Pradesh, a politically important state, Pandey said that congress is supporting the Samajwadi party 'wholeheartedly'. He expressed confidence that the agreement on seat-sharing in the state for the lok sabha elections will soon be resolved and finalized. He said that the Congress-SP alliance is also in talks with small parties in Uttar Pradesh who will join the opposition alliance 'India' to take on the bjp in the lok sabha elections. He stressed that all the issues would be resolved by the end of this month.

'BSP becomes part of india alliance'

congress General Secretary avinash Pandey said that the opposition alliance 'India' wholeheartedly wants BSP to also become a part of this alliance. Talking to the media, he said that some small parties are joining the india alliance unconditionally and some parties have some expectations. Therefore, it is taking some time (to finalize seat-sharing in Uttar Pradesh). But all the issues will be resolved by the end of this month. On seat sharing talks with SP, Pandey said that the talks are going on largely positively.
