A break-in was reported around 8:45 a.m. at a home in the 500 block of Summit Drive, not far from Tennent Avenue and Fernandez Park.

The victim and the suspect had a relationship, said Pinole police Cmdr. Matt Avery, adding that the victim lived at the home and the suspect was “associated with the house.”

“We believe this is a tragic case of domestic violence,” Avery said.

Police said Kendall was caught on camera leaving the area in a gray 2013 Hyundai Elantra with California license plate 8BLM036 and an Oxmoor Hyundai sticker on the right side of the trunk lid.

Kendall was described as 5-foot-9 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, camouflage jacket and dark pants, police said.

Kendall is considered armed, police said.

Police asked anyone with information about Kendall’s whereabouts to call 510-724-1111 or 911.
