Football fans were treated to a goal-fest in Reliance Foundation Development League U-21 matches on Saturday, with Pax of Nagoa SC and Sesa FA asserting their dominance, while Sporting Clube de Goa snatched a fantastic
late victory.
Pax of Nagoa SC unleashed a goal-scoring barrage at Utorda, crushing Siddeshwar SCC 8-0. Climax Fernandes ignited the onslaught, followed by a Royal Oliveira brace. Sherwin Abranches, Sidney Gauncar, Velnoy Fernandes, and Mujafarhusain joined the party, leaving Siddeshwar SCC reeling.
Over at Duler Stadium, Sesa FA were equally ruthless, demolishing FC Mardol 7-0. Sankalp Kankonkar spearheaded the attack with a double, while Siddhant Shirodkar, Pradip Aheibam, Sendy Mangte, Velrose Dias, and Gabriel Simoes added their names to the score sheet.
Sporting Clube de Goa faced a stiffer challenge against Geno FC at Guirim. The match remained goalless until deep into injury time, when Rohan Rodriguez rose to the occasion, scoring to secure a 1-0 victory for Sporting.
