BARKHAMSTED – Lorraine “Lorrie” F. (Canepari) Sluzenski died on Feb. 12, 2024. She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Edward Sluzenski.
She was born on July 31, 1933, the daughter of Maria (Pelizza) and Mario Canepari.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen Sluzenski (Etna, N.H.), Janet Sluzenski (Montpelier, Vt.), and Beth Sluzenski (New Hartford); and her beloved grandsons, Christopher Mangini, Cole Hartnett, Sam Hartnett and Joshua Mangini.
She loved her family, friends, gardening, and Italian heritage. Arrivederci!
Friends may call on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 5 Steele Road, New Hartford, from 4 to 7 p.m. A private burial will be in the spring.
