Lofaro, Skutley: What a turnout

Roaring Fork Conservancy (RFC) and the Roaring Fork Valley Fly Fishing Club (RFVFFC) would like to thank all the competitors, spectators, and sponsors that ensured a successful 8th Annual Iron Fly Competition on Saturday, Feb. 10.
14 Youth competitors and 12 Adult competitors provided a tough and fun competition! The evening began with a youth competitor bribing judges with homemade chocolate cupcakes! That’s the fun of Iron Fly – there are no rules until there are; bribing judges is allowed and so is cheating – all in effort to fundraise for youth and veteran fly fishing programs provided by RFC and RFVFFC.
