Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 35.76 crore), Dish TV India(numbers of share traded: 26.84 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 20.49 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 14.43 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 11.13 crore), NALCO(numbers of share traded: 8.36 crore), Indian Renewable(numbers of share traded: 7.41 crore), Zomato(numbers of share traded: 6.12 crore), Rain Ind.(numbers of share traded: 6.06 crore) and SJVN(numbers of share traded: 5.50 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 129.96 points up at 22040.7, while BSE Sensex ended up 376.26 points at 72426.64.

On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 2.53 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 0.94 per cent), State Bank of India(down 0.92 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.69 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
