Indigenous Heritage: Past & Present is taking place at Aims Community College in Greeley from 2 to 4 p.m. The event is taking place in the student commons located at 5121 W 20th St. Immerse yourself in a different culture and understand its heritage! Come join us as we explore a diverse community and enjoy dance, storytelling, and an important message of awareness. There will be three main events this will include Jan Iron who will be doing a traditional dance, Rose Red Elk who will be storytelling and lastly, we’ll have Raven Pavement who will be speaking about the awareness of missing and murdered indigenous women.
The Marshall Tucker Band is performing at the Union Colony Civic Center in Greeley at 7 p.m. Don’t miss the inimitable down-home sonic style that helped make The Marshall Tucker Band the U.S.’s first truly progressive Southern Rock band.
