Infinix Hot 40i lands in India with 50 MP camera, 256GB of storage

Infinix originally unveiled the Hot 40 series, including the Hot 40i, back in early December. And today the Hot 40i has finally made it to India as the successor to the - you guessed it - Hot 30i.
The Hot 40i comes with a 6.6-inch 720x1612 90 Hz LCD screen, the Unisoc T606 SoC at the helm, 8GB of RAM with support for 8GB of virtual RAM, 256GB of expandable UFS 2.2 storage, dual SIM support (with a triple slot that can fit two SIMs as well as a microSD), a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button, IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

On the rear there's a single 50 MP f/1.6 camera, with a 0.08 MP decorative auxiliary lens alongside. For selfies you get a 32 MP f/2.2 snapper with an LED flash. The phone runs Android 13 with XOS 13 on top unfortunately, and there are no update promises around either.

The Infinix Hot 40i will become available from Flipkart on February 21 in Starlit Black, Palm Blue, Horizon Gold, and Starfall Green. The price? INR 9,999 normally, but there's a special launch price of INR 8,999.
