Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Uniinfo Telecom Serv, Nectar Lifesc, Natco Pharma, Confidence Petro and Skipper Ltd, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Friday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 129.96 points up at 22040.7 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Ebixcash World Money, Cosmo Films, Polyplex Corp., N K Industries and Future Supply Chain, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 36 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 12 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, M&M, SBI Life, Adani Ports SEZ, Maruti Suzuki and L&T were among top gainers during the day, while Power Grid, ONGC, SBI, Britannia and RIL ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 376.26 points up at 72426.64.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Shipping, Petrochemicals, Auto and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors, while selling was witnessed in FMCG, Logistics, Industrial Consumables, Cables and Electric/Electronics sectors during the day.
