A total of 4786 residents have already benefited from these camps, as reported by the Deputy Commissioner.

This initiative, spearheaded by Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, is designed to address issues related to government offices by bringing services directly to the residents’ doorsteps. Under this scheme, 44 services were initially launched by the Punjab Chief Minister, and individuals can avail themselves of these services by dialing the toll-free number 1076.

The ‘AAP Di Sarkar AAP De Dwar’ camps take a step further by consolidating all departmental services in a village or ward, streamlining processes for immediate issue resolution. Mrs. Aashika Jain mentioned that 130 camps have been conducted in the district so far, with a total of 422 camps planned.

Nodal officers, including Sub Divisional Magistrates, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars, and Block Development and Panchayat Officers, have been appointed for each camp. A minimum of four camps are organized daily in each subdivision.

Mrs. Jain emphasized the online data entry process for effective monitoring. The array of services offered in these camps includes Birth and Death certificates, Certificates of SC, BC, OBC, and General caste, Monthly Assistance Schemes, Marriage Registration, Affidavit Attestation, Inspection of Revenue Records, and various other services from different departments.

Encouraging residents to participate, Mrs. Jain expressed satisfaction with the positive response and gratitude received from attendees. The camps also feature LED Vans showcasing welfare schemes and public-oriented achievements, adding an informative touch to the outreach initiative.
