Infosys Inks Multi-Year Deal with Singapore’s Pacific International Lines

Infosys has recently secured a multi-year contract with Pacific International Lines (PIL), a Singaporean shipping company, aimed at accelerating PIL’s digital transformation initiative. The partnership entails revamping PIL’s existing customer portal and implementing a modern technology platform to further their mission of ‘Driving Connectivity’. This collaboration will also involve enhancing user experience and customer engagement through a comprehensive overhaul of PIL’s web and mobile applications. The agreement spans multiple phases and seeks to address critical business challenges, including modernizing applications and providing advisory services on technology trends. Although specific financial details were not disclosed, Infosys, headquartered in Bengaluru, will serve as the technical backbone for the revamped portal. PIL’s Chief Commercial Officer, Lionel Patrice Chatelet, emphasized the importance of finding a partner capable of providing both technological expertise and advisory support in their transformation journey. He highlighted Infosys’ strong capabilities and collaborative approach as key factors in their decision to partner with the company.
