Every youth should have skills and can contribute to making the state self-reliant along with themselves. With this aim, their better skills are being upgraded keeping in view the needs of the industries through industrial training institutions.

Under the leadership of chief minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and the guidance of minister of State for Skill Development and Employment, Shri gautam Tetwal, better training is being given to the youth to fulfill the resolve of making the state “skill-rich – unemployment-free”. Employment opportunities are also available. Recently 22 new ITIs have been approved.

New government ITIs will soon be opened in 22 development blocks in twelve districts. Now the number of ITIs has increased to 290. With the opening of new 22 ITIs, 5 thousand 280 additional children will be able to get training. Under the "Skill Upgradation in 48 Districts affected by Left Wing Extremism" scheme of the government of India, an ITI has been sanctioned in Mawai development block of Mandla district.
