UofL's second half woes too much to overcome against Boston College

What started out as a promising game for Louisville ended in an all too familiar fashion.Louisville came out of the gate slowly but picked up steam as the first half progressed.UofL would go up 24-16 at the 11-minute mark, and they would lead heading into halftime by eight.The Cardinals would start the second half slowly again, as Boston College tied the game five minutes into the half at 54.Things would take a turn for UofL after that, as the Cardinals struggled to put points on the board and the Eagles lead steadily grew.Louisville would keep fighting, but its comeback would fall short, as Boston College went on to win 89-77.The Cardinals drop to 8-17 overall and 3-11 in conference play.UofL stays on the road this weekend, taking on Pitt on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. on the ACC Network.
