Tied at 71 with 1:50 to play, St. Xavier, once again, found a way to win.The Tigers pulled away from visiting Oldham County 80-76 for their seventh straight win.St. X (24-3) had two players score in double figures, led by Jeremiah Jackson with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Chance Dillingham chipped in 22 and also joined the 1,000-career point club in the process.The Tigers already clinched the top seed in the upcoming 26th District Tournament after winning over Male Monday, but didn't suffer a letdown against the visiting Colonels, led by the state's top scorer, Max Green (averaging 32.5 points per game)."All this stuff gets us postseason ready, in figuring out ways to win," St. X coach Kevin Klein said. "We have to do it the hard way and to come together is really special. So hats off to these guys for stepping up, making enough plays to get it done."The Tigers have three games left in the regular season, starting Friday at Ryle.
