Artemis Aerospace expands in the US, seizing the perfect moment as global aviation rebounds and demand for air travel is projected to surge.

Artemis Aerospace, a company thriving in the global aviation support sector, is broadening its horizons by setting up operations in the United States. The move is timed perfectly, as the organization senses a golden opportunity to expand westward.

Forecasted by the Airports Council International, the aviation sector is on track to bounce back entirely from the COVID-19 downturn by 2024, with projections showing passenger numbers could hit 9.4 billion. An IATA report released earlier highlighted a potential doubling in air travel demand by 2040, with a yearly growth rate of 3.4%. This marks a significant turnaround for an industry that was nearly paralyzed during the pandemic.

North America, in particular, has shown robust recovery progress. According to IATA’s ‘Global Outlook for Air Transport’ report from June 2023, it leads in financial performance and was the first to regain profitability in 2022. By the end of 2023, it’s anticipated to further enhance its net profit to $11.5 billion, owing to sustained high demand for air travel.

The aviation sector plays a pivotal role in bolstering the U.S. economy. Recent research by the National Association of State Aviation Officials, the Alliance for Aviation Across America, and the American Association of State and Highway Transportation Officials reveals the industry supports over 1.1 million jobs and contributes more than $246 billion annually to the economy. The U.S. boasts over 4,800 public airports and thousands of aviation-related businesses.

Encouraged by the promising outlook of American aviation and after thorough analysis, Artemis recently inaugurated two new centers in the U.S., located in Miami, Florida, and Los Angeles, California.

Addressing the critical shortage of skilled pilots, Artemis places a high emphasis on training the future cadre of aviators. Ensuring minimal downtime for flight simulators, which are crucial for training, is a key focus. The company’s new facilities across the U.S. coast-to-coast network are poised to offer swift, effective support to flight training programs nationwide, minimizing any disruptions to ongoing training.

In just three months since their launch, Artemis’s new American bases have already started to positively impact the local aviation sector, with the company eagerly anticipating further growth and opportunities.
