During the Board of Directors Meeting of National Federation of Urban Co-operative Banks and Credit Societies (NAFCUB), New Delhi held on Tuesday, Cosmos Bank’s Chairman CA Milind Kale has been elected as the Vice President of NAFCUB, reads a press release sent by the Cosmos Bank.
Out of 19 seats, 12 seats have been won unopposed. All the Directors who have won unopposed are candidates of the panel led by Jyotindrabhai Mehta and H K Patil.
In the election for the remaining 7 seats, all 7 candidates of ‘Sahakar Se Samrudhhi 24’ panel led by Mehta and Patil have won by majority votes. The tenure of the said panel will be for 5 years i.e., from year 2024 to 2029.
Laxmi Das, New Delhi Federation is elected as the President of NAFCUB while along with CA Milind Kale, Mudit Varmaji, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Federation who have been elected as the Vice President.
After winning the election, CA Milind Kale said the newly elected Directors will work towards strengthening the Co-operative Sector & strive to make its future brighter!
