Routt County Humane Society secures grant to provide veterinary care for low-income pet owners
The Routt County Humane Society has been awarded a $3,000 grant to offer essential veterinary care services to low-income pet owners.
According to the Humane Society, the grant was provided by SBNY and will help the nonprofit improve the well-being of pets and their families within the community.
With the funding, the Humane Society will offer services to low-income pet owners in Routt County, including wellness visits, diagnostics and treatments associated with illnesses or minor injuries, as well as partnering with local veterinarians for emergency medical treatment that cannot be accommodated at the Routt County Humane Society’s Wellness Clinic.
