Pearl Jam will play a gig at Marlay Park in Dublin this summer as part of their upcoming world tour.

The band will be joined by Richard Ashcroft for their Dublin date on June 22.

Fans must register their interest in buying tickets with Ticketmaster before the general sale by this Sunday.

High demand is expected, with eager concert-goers warned that registration does not guarantee access to sale.

Fans will be randomly selected to access the sale based on ticket availability and those not selected will be waitlisted.

Waitlisted fans will receive an email if tickets become available for the Irish date on the Dark Matter tour.

A number of tickets will be made available to fans registered though the Ten Club Members-Only presale, powered by Ticketmaster Request.

Memberships for the programme purchased now are not eligible for the current 10C ticket pre-sale.

Ticketmaster has said the band “continues to try to protect fans’ access to fairly priced tickets by providing the majority of tickets to its Ten Club members where possible and selling approximately 10pc of tickets through ‘PJ Premium’ at the market rate to offset increased costs”.

Special guests on the tour include Deep Sea Diver for the first leg of dates in America, while Glen Hansard will support for the second.

The Murder Capital will support for many UK and EU dates, through Richard Ashcroft will take on the gigs in Dublin and London.

Pixies will serve as support for the Australia and New Zealand dates.

The tour kicks off this May, with all presale and registration information available online.
