Oldham County HS student facing felonies after staple found in teacher's drink

An Oldham County High School student is facing felonies after staples were found in a teacher's drink.Oldham County police said a teacher was away from their desk when a girl put a staple in their soft drink.The teacher drank from the bottle, but did not swallow the staple.Police recovered the bottle with the staple still in it and said follow-up investigations showed it could have caused physical harm.The student was cited for first-degree wanton endangerment and third-degree assault against a school employee or volunteer.
