Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: NHPC(Rs. 2182.09 crore), Indian Railway Fin(Rs. 1850.54 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1238.30 crore), SJVN(Rs. 1198.37 crore), Hindalco(Rs. 1137.53 crore), Coal India Ltd(Rs. 962.56 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(Rs. 813.76 crore), Zomato(Rs. 750.43 crore), SBI(Rs. 719.36 crore) and ICICI Bank(Rs. 713.24 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:20AM in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 116.91 points up at 21732.95, while BSE Sensex was up 471.72 points at 71544.21 as of 11:20AM(IST)on February 13.

In the Nifty index, Coal India Ltd.(up 4.58 per cent), UPL Ltd.(up 3.59 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 1.93 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.82 per cent) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 1.81 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 13.24 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 2.72 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 0.87 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 0.86 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 0.76 per cent) were among the top losers.
