Modi in UAE: Indian PM lands in Abu Dhabi, accorded Guard of Honour
India and UAE exchanged Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) in the presence of PM Modi and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in UAE’s Abu Dhabi on Tuesday for his two-day visit to the nation.
Upon reaching, PM Modi and President of UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan shared a hug while the former was accorded Guard of Honour.

“I thank you for the warm welcome. Whenever I come here to meet you, I always feel I have come to meet my family. We’ve met 5 times in the last 7 months, it’s very rare and reflects our close relationship,” Modi said after he arrived in Abu Dhabi.

After touching down in Abu Dhabi, PM Modi wrote on X, “I am very grateful to my brother, His Highness Mohamed Bin Zayed, for taking the time to receive me at Abu Dhabi Airport.”

“I look forward to a fruitful visit that will strengthen the friendship between India and the UAE,” he added.
India and UAE exchanged Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) in the presence of PM Modi and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed.
The MoU from the Indian side was handed over by the Foreign Secretary of India Vinay Mohan Kwatra.

PM Modi’s two-day visit to UAE
During his official visit to UAE from 13-14 February, PM Modi will oversee the signing of several agreements to shore up cooperation in key areas.
In Abu Dhabi, Modi will also inaugurate the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Mandir, the first Hindu stone temple in Abu Dhabi, on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the prime minister will attend an event called ‘Ahlam Modi’ in Abu Dhabi where he will meet and address the Indian diaspora.
Modi is also set to meet Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the vice president, prime minister and defence minister of the UAE.
