IRCTC shares drop 0.6% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. traded at Rs 894.65 on BSE at 12:49PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 0.6 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 557.15 and a high of Rs 1049.75.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 67.55 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 13.27 per share and 18.5 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 342,981 shares changed hands on the counter till 12:49PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 71688.0 crore and is part of the Travel Agen. / Tourism Deve. / Amusement Park / Catering industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 39.77 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 17.88 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 912.1 and Rs 876.75.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 62.4 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2023. FII and MF ownership in Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd. stood at 7.34 per cent and 2.43 per cent, respectively.
