Bilateral ties between India and UAE have touched new highs in recent years
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the “Ahlan Modi” function in Abu Dhabi. At the Zayed Sports City Stadium in Abu Dhabi, 65,000 people have registered to attend what may be one of the largest diaspora events ever.
About 700 local artists will put on a “cultural extravaganza” for the audience, and 150 Indian community groups from across the nation will be present.
The event honors “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,” an Indian philosophy that promotes interconnectedness among all people.
In addition to holding talks with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, where the two leaders will discuss ways to further expand and strengthen their strategic partnership, PM Modi will also inaugurate the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Mandit.
PM Modi’s visit is deemed “very important” for the bilateral ties between the UAE and India, according to UAE Ambassador to India Abdulnasser Alshaali on Monday.
