Nike’s yet-to-be-released Air Max DN already has a Supreme collaboration in the books.
The New York City streetwear brand revealed its take on the new silhouette Monday as part of its spring 2024 lookbook. Supreme renders the Air Max DN almost entirely in black, as its logo appears faintly across the mesh upper’s lateral side. What looks to be grey or olive green forms the heel counter and midfoot shank, while the new Air Max unit is rendered clear and colorless.
If Supreme follows its usual patterns, the colorway it’s teased should be just one of three that’ll be released. A white and red version will likely be included, while the third is an absolute toss-up.
Nike tapping Supreme so early on the Air Max DN shows how much it wants the sneaker to be a hit, as the streetwear brand tends to favor more obscure or old Nike models.
The new Air Max model was first revealed at the beginning of February, and its defining Dynamic Air technology is made up of two pressurized chambers, each with two tubes, at the heel. The back two tubes feature higher pressure than those in the front, which is supposed to make the shoe more responsive as you stride. Injected phylon foam then surrounds the Air unit for additional comfort and support.
A release date for the Supreme x Nike Air Max DN hasn’t yet been set, but it will likely drop after Nike launches the silhouette on Air Max Day, March 26. Pricing should come in at $160.
