It is also noteworthy that this is the only film nominated from India. Many of the best films nominated from around the world are Anatomy of a Fall (France), Concrete Utopia (South Korea), Fallen Leaves (Finland), Perfect Days (Japan), Radical (Mexico), Society of the Snow (Spain), The Taste of Things. (France), The Teacher's Lounge (Germany) and The Zone of Interest (United Kingdom), Jaawan is the only indian film to feature in the top 500. Director Atlee represented india at the Astra Awards 2024 presented by the hollywood Creative Alliance. The event was also attended by other prominent celebrities nominated for the Golden Globe Awards. The jawaan film joins the list of world-famous Barbie, Oppenheimer, Killer of the Flower Moon, john Wick, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and many other box office hits.
