Gadkari to inaugurate, launch 17 road projects worth ₹25K cr today in Udaipur

Udaipur: Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will visit Udaipur on Monday to attend the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony of 17 road projects in which over Rs 25,000 crore has been invested. The program takes place at the Lupi Resort near the airport. Gadkari will also address the public at an event at Sir Padampat Singhania University in Batewal, Udaipur.

Other dignitaries included Union Road Transport Minister VK Singh, Agriculture Minister Kailash Chowdhury, Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari, State Ministers Gautam Kumar and Sanjay Kumar and Congress leader and BJP member Arjalal Meena. Representatives of the people will be present.

Gadkari will construct a six-lane road for 93 km from Chittorgarh to Udaipur at a cost of Rs 1.1 billion, a two-lane asphalted road for the 44 km stretch from Beawar to Asindh at a cost of Rs 260 million and two lanes. Projects involving construction works worth Rs 600 million will be inaugurated. Asphalting of 43 km long Asind-Mandal section at a cost of Rs 104 million and construction of four lanes on 14 km of Biwal-Gomati section (Bagana to Mada Ki Basi) at a construction cost of Rs 140 million. Construction of a 16 km four-lane stretch of Boomerasia will cost Rs 14 billion. Work on widening the Modi-Koraber MDR-150 road will also begin.

Also, foundation stones will be laid for several projects including construction of a 26 km long two-lane paved shoulder between Ghagaria and Manababu at a cost of Rs 235 million and construction of a 6 km highway in Sanchor town at a cost of Rs 235 million to 363 million. Is. Widening and upgrading of 18 km Sakroda Road and Munnar Road at a cost of Rs 20 billion and widening, widening and strengthening of 11 km road from Balhar to Amravada-Ali-Mukanpura at a cost of Rs 13 billion and Rs 17 billion.

Construction of 13 km long Ganoli-Delwara road with cost, construction work of seven bridges at railway crossings under Sethubandhan project: Chenpura Gate, Jirai Gate (Tonk), Liko Gate (Bharatpur), Hendon Gate, Harsoli- Goal, double goal (Alwar), Sanchore goal.

The road widening project in Ariyalur district is expected to be completed by December 2024. The aim of this project is to widen the road between Marvatur and Ponparappi villages and improve connectivity in this area. The structure includes retaining walls, a stormwater drain and a suspended bus stop.

The construction of the 23.5 km long Danapur-Bita flyover in Patna is expected to begin next month. The railway hands over the site to the state government. The road will improve connectivity between Patna, the proposed site of Behta International Airport, and Buxar. Completion will take approximately two years.
