Trent shares gain 1.37% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Trent Ltd. traded at Rs 3810.0 on BSE at 10:10AM (IST) on Monday, up 1.37 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 1250.95 and a high of Rs 3935.85.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap up opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 162.23 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 23.54 per share and 18.83 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 10,015 shares changed hands on the counter till 10:10AM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 135744.66 crore and is part of the Retail - Apparel/Accessories industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 186.9 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 19.75 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 3835.4 and Rs 3720.5.

Promoter/FII Holding
Promoters held 37.01 per cent in the company as of 31-Dec-2023. FII and MF ownership in Trent Ltd. stood at 25.91 per cent and 9.21 per cent, respectively.
