Two Republican lawmakers are backing a resolution that would create an oversight task force for Jefferson County Public Schools.The "Efficient and Effective School District Governance" task force would monitor the operations and performance of county districts with enrollments of more than 75,000.JCPS is currently the only district in Kentucky with enrollment numbers that would qualify for the monitoring.Rep. Ken Fleming filed a resolution in the House, while Sen. Lindsay Tichenor plans to file a concurrent resolution in the Senate.
