Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(number of shares traded: 36.80 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 21.65 crore), NHPC(number of shares traded: 16.75 crore), JP Power(number of shares traded: 9.83 crore), Zomato(number of shares traded: 9.34 crore), SJVN(number of shares traded: 9.28 crore), Indian Railway Fin(number of shares traded: 6.86 crore), RattanIndia Power (number of shares traded: 4.94 crore), Dish TV India(number of shares traded: 4.52 crore) and Easy Trip Planners(number of shares traded: 4.41 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:25AM in Monday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 60.71 points down at 21721.8, while BSE Sensex was down 149.67 points at 71445.82 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, Wipro Ltd.(up 3.68 per cent), Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(up 3.37 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.82 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 2.78 per cent) and Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.80 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 5.29 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 4.42 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 3.95 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.60 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(down 2.59 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
