"You're little cinematic universe is about to change forever… I'm the messiah." 20th Century Studios and Marvel Studios have revealed the first teaser trailer for Deadpool 3, now officially known as Deadpool & Wolverine. It's time for the infamous Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool, to mess up the MCU by getting his tricky little fingers all over this superhero-filled multiverse. Even though this is technically Deadpool 3, he's diving full on into the whole franchise and bringing Wolverine along with him. Ryan Reynolds stars once again as Wade Wilson / Deadpool alongside Hugh Jackman as Logan / Wolverine, and a cast featuring Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Matthew Macfadyen, Emma Corrin, Shioli Kutsuna, Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, and Jennifer Garner. No other plot details were revealed, but not much else is needed right now. This is still just a teaser, and doesn't even fully reveal the new Wolvie even though everyone has seen Jackman on set anyway. Bring on the MCU mayhem! Everyone deserves a happy ending.
Here's the first teaser trailer for Shawn Levy's Deadpool & Wolverine, direct from Marvel's YouTube:
Deadpool will change the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Wolverine. Or will he?! The third movie in the Deadpool franchise. Deadpool & Wolverine, formerly known as just Deadpool 3, is directed by the American producer / filmmaker Shawn Levy, director of many movies including Just in Time, Big Fat Liar, Just Married, Cheaper by the Dozen, The Pink Panther, Night at the Museum 1-3, Date Night, Real Steel, The Internship, This Is Where I Leave You, Free Guy, and The Adam Project previously, plus the All the Light We Cannot See series most recently. The screenplay is written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, as well as Zeb Wells, Ryan Reynolds, Shawn Levy, Wendy Molyneux, and Lizzie Molyneux-Logelin. Based on the characters created by Rob Liefeld and Fabian Nicieza. It's produced by the MCU's Kevin Feige, with Simon Kinberg, Shawn Levy, and Ryan Reynolds. 20th Century Studios will debut Deadpool & Wolverine in theaters worldwide starting on July 26th, 2024 this summer. First impression? How funny does it look?
