Russell neighborhood shooting leaves 37-year-old man dead

Louisville Metro Police are investigating after a deadly shooting in the Russell neighborhood.Around 4 a.m. Sunday, LMPD officers were called out to the 2500 block of West Broadway on a report of a shooting.When they got there, they found a man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead on the scene.He was later identified as 37-year-old Ronald Batey of Louisville.LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating, but they don’t have any suspects at this time.
