Cincinnati Zoo's meerkats make Super Bowl picks

After Cincinnati Zoo stars Fiona and Fritz made their picks for this year's Super Bowl earlier this week, their next door neighbors took turns doing so.Sunday morning, the zoo posted a video of their meerkat habitat making their picks between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.See the meerkats make their selections in the video player above.The meerkats must know which team has the most Cincinnati representation, with the mob nearly unanimously picking the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl LIV rematch.The Chiefs boast a pair of former Bearcats on their roster: Most notably, star tight end Travis Kelce, who is looking to win his third Super Bowl ring.KC safety Bryan Cook also played at UC, but has been in on injured reserve since suffering an ankle injury in Week 13.It isn't just former Bearcats hoping to represent Cincinnati Sunday: Former Winton Woods standout Mike Edwards ranks top 10 in tackles for the Chiefs this year.He and Cook, who went to Mt. Healthy before his time in Clifton, even teamed up for one of the wildest defensive plays of the season against Miami in Germany.Despite all those connections, the rivalry between the Chiefs and Bengals still runs deep, even with Cincinnati missing out on the playoffs this year. Even with the meerkats picks, the Zoo was quick to say "We're always a Bengals team at heart."
