KILMARNOCK, Va. – Ann Hamill Talcott, 93, ended life’s journey on Feb. 6, 2024, in Kilmarnock, Va.
Raised in Litchfield, Conn., she moved to Williamsburg, Va., in the 1950s after earning a master’s of library science from Columbia University to work at the College of William & Mary library.
She met her husband and raised her two sons in Williamsburg. She subsequently lived in Savannah, Ga., and Sanibel, Fla., before returning to Virginia.
Ann was predeceased by her husband Nathan Talcott, sister Joan Hamill and brother John Hamill. She is survived by sons Andrew Talcott (Charlene) of Lancaster, Va., and Hugh Talcott of Ashville, N.C.
