Walsh: GarCo SO, where are you?

It appears that there is a new effort by the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office to increase its presence on Highway 82. Let’s applaud it and Pitkin County for their modest efforts. Let’s hope it’s going to be a sustained effort. 

Garfield County SO continues to be MIA on 82. Sheriff Vallario has made it clear that traffic enforcement is not a priority or even a requirement for his department.
