Dead & Company have announced the band will reunite for a 24-show residency at the state-of-the-art $2.3 billion venue, Sphere in Las Vegas.
"In 2023, Dead & Company played their final tour. But there are other ways to make sure the music never stops," the band posted on social media. "And it's gonna be a ball."
The residency will take place over eight weekends from May 16 through July 13, with the performances featuring unique setlists, the band said.
Dead & Company, featuring Grateful Dead legends Bob Weir and Mickey Hart alongside John Mayer, bassist Oteil Burbridge, keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, and drummer Jay Lane, will use the Sphere's cutting-edge technology, including its high resolution wrap-around LED display and immersive audio setup to present "never-before-seen visual storytelling."
Dead & Company previously embarked on a farewell tour in summer 2023.
Dead & Company will be the third band to stage a residency at the Sphere, following U2 and Phish.
Tickets for the shows, which are on sale now, start at $145 and will reflect all-in pricing. This means the ticket price listed is the full out-of-pocket price inclusive of taxes and fees.
