Today, ATPCO announced a multi-year partnership with SAP Concur to incorporate its Routehappy merchandising solution. As a global leader in travel, expense, and invoice management solutions, SAP Concur has already integrated ATPCO’s full range of content, including Amenities, Universal Ticket Attributes (UTAs), and Universal Product Attributes (UPAs), into Concur Travel.
SAP Concur has also unveiled the latest advancements in Concur Travel, offering a comprehensive booking experience that covers flights, hotels, and car rentals. This enhancement is partly due to the integration of the Routehappy API, which enables the display of more reliable and consistent information directly from ATPCO.
The revamped interface of Concur Travel extends beyond mere price and schedule comparisons. It now more effectively highlights differences in airline offerings, services, and the overall travel experience as part of its managed travel programs. Notably, SAP Concur has become one of the initial platforms to adopt ATPCO’s Premium UPAs within its seat selection feature. This integration showcases detailed descriptions of amenities, limitations, advantages, and images for each fare option, helping travelers make more informed decisions when booking.
Furthermore, ATPCO’s recent consumer survey, published in April, underscores the importance of visually appealing flight search results. According to the survey, 83% of consumers prefer to view images depicting the aircraft’s interior and amenities, featuring real passengers, suggesting a significant shift away from basic, commoditized information displays towards more engaging and informative visuals.
ATPCO’s Head of Sales & Partner Success for the Americas, Doug Sharpe said, “The new Concur Travel experience highlights everything corporate consumers want to know about their flights before booking. Their innovative use of all three Routehappy content types is to be applauded.”
