He was always interested in theatre from his childhood and also performed many roles. He began his career with a company called Lazer Brushes which used to manufacture tooth brushes. He formed his own cable TV company after sometime which was known as Network in 1981. He was born in Mumbai and did his schooling at Cathedral and John Connon School. His is also the crucial part of the panel of judges on Shark Tank India.
