With nearly 100 contestant signups, the Coal Mountain Skijoring event kicked off Saturday at the Moffat County Fairgounds with skiers — and a couple of snowboarders — competing for cash prizes in the youth, novice, sport and open divisions. Skijoring events will continue Sunday at the fairgrounds.
