Swiggy has delivered a whopping 30.29 million pizzas in the last 12 months, enough to cover the distance between Delhi and Mumbai approximately 6.4 times!

One Chandigarh resident, however, stole the show by ordering a mind-boggling 558 pizzas last year – talk about serious dough love!

The 7 PM to 11 PM slot emerged as the golden hour for pizza cravings, with over a third of orders coming during dinner time. And when it comes to the classic versus quirky debate, Margherita reigned supreme across all cities.
Pizza isn’t a solo act! Garlic bread, cheese dips, and refreshing cool drinks were the most popular companions, proving that Indians know how to party with their slices.
Speaking of celebrations, in 2023, a Swiggy user from Bhubaneswar kicked off a feast by ordering a whopping 217 Pizzas in a single order. New Year’s Eve, the World Cup finals, and India-Pakistan matches were days when Indians took to pizzas in record numbers.
