Say goodbye to our warmth and tranquil weather for the foreseeable future. A damper weather pattern is starting to set in — especially by late tonight — with showers and light rain on tap for a good part of tomorrow. With these elevated rain chances also comes cooler temperatures.

Through Tonight: Any breaks in the clouds begin to fill in completely. Other than a couple of stray raindrops, shower chances stay minimal until a bit closer to sunrise. Breezes lighten overnight, blowing from the southwest during the evening but shifting to blow from the northeast closer to dawn as rain chances rise. Temperatures slowly dip toward the mid-40s to around 50 degrees.

Tomorrow (Sunday): Showers and light rain are most likely during the morning hours, lasting perhaps through midafternoon. Steadier, more moderate rains may favor areas south of the city. Overall, though, a tenth to quarter inch (wettest spots) of rain is possible. Clouds and light northeasterly breezes keep daytime temperatures muted within a few degrees of 50.

Overnight, only the slightest chance for a few stray raindrops. Winds are calm as clouds dominate and temperatures hover fairly steadily near 40 to mid-40s.
