How to play with friends in Skull and Bones

Is it a pirate’s life for you? If so, it won’t be a very long life in Skull and Bones if you don’t have a loyal crew at your back. Setting sail on the dangerous waters of this online game leaves you open to all sorts of peril that a team may otherwise avoid. While you are always in a server with up to 20 other players, you never know who those players will be, which is where forming a group comes in handy. Thanks to Skull and Bones being a crossplay game, the only limiting factor to playing with some pals is knowing how to do it, which is where we come in.

Forming your crew is simple once you know where to look in Skull and Bones‘ menus. First, pause the game and go to the Social tab. You can see any players on your friends list on the left-hand side. You can also tab to the right to World to see a list of players currently on your server if you want to invite a new friend to your crew or check Requests if someone has asked you to join their team. You can also use the Find Group option to look for any other players who want to team up but don’t have any friends playing and are open to anyone joining.

Whichever method you use, parties in Skull and Bones are restricted to a maximum of three players, meaning you and two others. Once teamed up, you can take on events, quests, and whatever else catches your fancy on the seven seas.

How to join the Skull and Bones open beta

It seems as though the Skull and Bones ship is finally seaworthy and will hit its release on February 16. No one will blame you if you have grown a little weary about the quality of this game after so many years of development and delays. That's where open betas come in. These tests let you play a slice of the game early to see if it will live up to your expectations before investing any cash. Thankfully, Ubisoft is giving any hopeful pirates a chance to test the waters a few days before launch, and everyone is welcome to give it a shot. How to join the Skull and Bones beta

The open beta is, as expected, open to anyone who wants to play Skull and Bones. All you need is a console or PC on which the game will run, such as a PS5 or an Xbox Series X/S. The beta will begin at 6 p.m. PT on February 7 and end at 3 p.m. PT on February 11, but you can start preloading it as early as 1 a.m. PT on February 6.

There are a lot fewer similarities between Palworld and Pokémon than you would think when looking at the monster designs. Yes, you can catch and fight with Pals of different types against other Pals, but the similarities mostly end there. A major change is that Pals don't evolve, meaning the only way to get new or stronger Pals is to catch them or breed them. Depending on which two Pals you breed, you will get a different Pal from the egg they make. While this new Pal will always be stronger, some combinations can allow you to get some very rare Pals much earlier than you otherwise would if you were to try and fight them in the wild. Anubis is level 47 when found naturally, but you can breed one way earlier than that if you follow a few easy steps.
