Lincoln historian Ed Zimmer will present “Candy and Confection” as Postcards from Lincoln, a speaker series about the history of Lincoln, Nebraska, returns Monday to Saint Paul United Methodist Church, 1144 M St.
All sessions will take place on Mondays, Feb. 12-April 22, at 7 p.m. in Saint Paul UMC’s Sanctuary.
Saint Paul will welcome back Lincoln historians Zimmer and Jim McKee – as well as Bob Ripley, and new guest, Jeff Korbelik – for the fifth season of the speaker series. The series is open to everyone and features some of Lincoln’s most preeminent figures specializing in our city’s history, and those individuals who made that history.
Future presentations will include:
Feb. 26 – “Lost Restaurants of Lincoln” by Jeff Korbelik;
March 11 – “The Library of Thomas Jefferson Fitzpatrick” by Jim McKee;
