Skoda recently unveiled their new-gen Kodiaq SUV for the global markets. Now, images of the SUV's sportier 'RS' version have leaked online, giving us a first glimpse of the upcoming model.
The new-gen Skoda Kodiaq RS carries forward the design from the standard version, albeit with changes to help differentiate itself. These changes include a blacked-out grille, ORVMs and pillars. The Kodiaq RS is also expected to come with smoked LED headlamps, revised front and rear bumpers, dual exhaust, newly-designed alloy wheels with red brake calipers and 'RS' badges all around the exterior of the SUV.
The Kodiaq RS will also get subtle changes to its interiors, including a larger 13-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a fully digital instrument cluster with a new user interface, ADAS, a 360-degree camera, dual-zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof.
Skoda though is yet to confirm the powertrain on the upcoming Kodiaq RS, which will be announced at the time of unveil.
While the new-gen Skoda Kodiaq will come to India sometime this year, it is unlikely that the RS version will make its way here as well.
