First 4 Figures Releasing Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Sheikah Slate Statue, Pre-Orders Open Soo

Expect a full reveal soon

First 4 Figures has got off to a busy start this year with a bunch of new statues, and the next one getting a release is based on a well-known item from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

It's a life-size Sheikah Slate. You can see the statue's silhouette in the teaser, and it's apparently arriving "really soon". Pre-orders will open later this month on 20th February 2024 and if you get in early and sign up for the newsletter, you'll get $10 off.

If it was cheaper, I'd buy instantly. Would be a cool item to keep on the desk!

I preordered the Urbosa figure when it was first announced and it took 9 months to arrive. I also preordered the Daruk figure when it was announced shortly after ordering the Urbosa figure - and it has been nearly a year since that time. First 4 truly needs to get their youknowwhat together. Hard pass on the sheikah slate. Hopefully Ganondorf from TotK is on the drawing board and will come out some time this century.

This one of the things I would rather it be an electronic gadget that lights up. I will likely pass on this one. I am winding down my statue buying anyway.

Most of my most beloved fandoms are covered at this point in my collection (I just need to sell a kidney for some Samurai Troopers merch). I might get Ganon as a pvc to complete the Holy Trinity later. Because we all know f4f is gonna make one.

It might light up. First 4 Figures does have some editions of figures with light in them.

A life-size Sheikah slate would make sense as a toy, but why would you want something you're supposed to use with your hands as a statue? 🤔

Resin, well you know it's going to be expensive. I have enough Zelda stuff from the first 4.

@Lofoten it will but I still would like an electric gadget for something like this as it would be more vibrant. Like the pip boys from fallout. They had different screens due to a smartphone app and could even connect with the game. It’s not a big deal, f4f has gotten plenty of repeat custom from me. I have 15 statues from them already. They aren’t gonna miss me skipping this one. Lol.

Happy for those who will get it, but this made me think of how baffling it is that we've never got an official special edition of the Switch that looks like the Sheikah Slate (the same applies to the DAS from Another Code Recollection, but to a much lesser extent considering how relatively niche that game unfortunately is)!

Here's hoping it will at least have some functionality other than lighting up. I'd love to see it "use" some of the Runes.

for the price it will be i hope it is funcional at least lol

I'll have to go with only Amiibos figures right now they can get expensive for anything figures other then Amiibo versions.

Just the slate? Seems a bit pointless imo. I guess we can expect a Purah Pad in the future.
