There is major disruption to train services running between Didcot and Bristol today due to flooding.
GWR said that owing to flooding in the Chipping Sodbury area between Bristol Parkway and Swindon, the line has been shut and approximately 50 per cent of trains have been cancelled.
Most services between Carmarthen, Swansea and London Paddington will continue to run.
Trains that start or terminate at Cardiff Central, to or from London Paddington will be cancelled.
Train services between London Paddington and Swansea via Bristol Parkway and Cardiff Central may be cancelled, delayed by up to 30 minutes or diverted between Swindon and Bristol Parkway.
Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
GWR said in a statement to passengers: "We apologise for the disruption to your journey today."
