Andoni Iraola reveals secret to Dominic Solanke’s best season at Bournemouth

Andoni Iraola believes that there's plenty more to Dominic Solanke's game than just goals.

The Bournemouth striker has enjoyed a brilliant season on the south coast with 15 goals already to his name this term.

That sort of form has been in Solanke's locker for some time, with the striker scoring 30 goals to help Bournemouth to promotion in 2021/22, before racking up seven goals and seven assists in their first campaign back in the top flight.

But while the 26-year-old's goal tally this term sees him third in the Premier League's top scorer list behind Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah, drawing transfer links to Arsenal and Tottenham, his manager believes that he offers a variety of things to their team.

Speaking about Solanke's great form on The Sports Breakfast, Iraola said: “He has been really from the beginning.

"Even last season he played really well but it’s true that now he’s playing with the confidence that goals give you.
