Tech giants have paid just a fraction of €3bn in fines, says DPC Helen Dixon

Decisions are ‘imminent’ on landmark cases

Less than 1pc of the €3bn in Irish regulatory fines on tech giants has been collected so far, according to Ireland’s Data Protection Commissioner.

Speaking to the Irish Independent’s Big Tech Show podcast, Helen Dixon also said that the fines might be revised by Irish courts, which are currently set to hear appeals on the decisions.
