Ubaid continues from the other end. Slightly animated expression by Ubaid. Hitting the pitch hard. Constant long stares by him towards the Australian batters. 

Spin early in the innings. Naveed Khan into the attack with his off spin. Bowling the driving lengths to left hander. Just one runs from the over. 

Ubaid has bowled well. He has found his length more often. Not much movement out there. Just two singles in that over. Impressive bowling. 

Full toss by Zeeshan and Konstas pushes it for four towards the on side. When Zeeshan hits the hard length, it’s not easy to time him. But he’s missing his length more often than not. 

Pakistan pacers have been slightly fuller so far. Probably looking for early swing. Need to find their lines though. Ubaid has attacked the stumps in this over. Hasn’t got the ball to move but. Slightly outside off and Dixon drives it for four to end the over. 

Mohammed Zeeshan from the other end. FOUR! Slightly full and wide and Dixon smashes it past covers. Zeeshan is pretty tall, needs to find his length right here. So far, he isn’t able to control his line and length. 

Harry Dixon on strike. Ubaid Shah with the new ball. A bouncer very early in the innings, a wide though. Too high. Fuller lengths for the rest of the over. Four runs off the over.

Straker. Shah goes for a slog and gets a boundary towards backward square leg. OUT! Another wicket for Straker. Length ball, Shah goes for another hit, top edges it and is caught inside circle. Eight down Pakistan.

Vidler continues. Naveed goes for a slog and misses it. Almost edges it. Ubaid Shah gets a double. Both batters are going after the ball now. 

Campbell’s sixth over. FOUR! Minhas gets his fifty with a boundary past point! Great knock. OUT! Minhas is gone!! Big wicket for Australia this. Slightly fuller, he goes for an inside out but is caught in the deep. Good catch there, had to run a bit.

Vidler is back and Minhas welcomes him with a brilliant cover drive for four. Another boundary! Terrific pull shot this time by Naveed. 11 runs off the over. 

Campbell for his fifth over. Tight over, just two off it. 

Beardman bowling his ninth. Slight miscommunication between the batters as new batter Naveed wanted to a quick single but Minhas sends his back from the strikers’ end. Direct hit would have been close. Minhas charges and hits over covers. Doesn’t time it well but gets a double. Now he slashes the fuller length past point to end the over with a boundary. 

Straker strikes again! He gets Azan Awais caught behind! Umpires checked for no ball it was very close but no luck for Awais as he walks back. Terrific knock though. He tried to guide it towards deep third but got an edge. Third wicket for Straker.

Minhas has found his rhythm. He slaps Straker’s bouncer towards midwicket for four. 

Beardman is back. Testing batters with short balls and then a bait ball on driving length. Smart bowling this. 

Straker bowling his seventh. He has consistently challenged the outside edge. Has a good liking for the left hand batters. Three singles off the over. 

Macmillan bowling his last over. A single by Azan Awais brings up his fifty! A great knock given the situation. 

Straker is back. Attack continues to be at the stumps. Tight over, just a single off it. 

Now Macmillan bowling his ninth. Full on the pads and Awais sweeps it for four towards backward square leg. And Minhas ends the over with another cut past point for four. Good over for Pakistan. 

Campbell continues. Four! Short and wide and Minhas cuts it hard past the point. Seven runs off the over. 

Only one over for Vidler. Harjas is back. He has bowled so far. With the kind of situation Pakistan is in, the batters haven’t been able to take much risks. FOUR! Minhas opens his arms off a half-volley and slaps it straight past the bowler. 

Campbell is back. Spins away from the left hander and beats the keeper as well. Four byes for Pakistan! Single and that brings up 100 for Pakistan. 

Vidler is back. Starts off with two wides. Idea is to keep Pakistan batters on backfoot and not let them open arms. Vidler bowls a half-volley and Minhas drives it past covers for four! A boundary after ages! Follows it up with a jaffa. Pulls his length slightly back and balls nips away just past the outside edge. Vidler hasn’t been able to control his line in this over. Four wides and a no ball already in the over. He comes around the wicket now to attack the stumps. Nine runs off it. 

Macmillan bowling his eighth over. All eyes on Awais now to get Pakistan to a defendable total. Three singles in that over. 

Beardman has been pretty good today. Mixing his length well, consistent with the lines, challenging both edges and has a good pace. 

Macmillan continues. Arafat Minhas in the new man in. 101 balls since the last boundary says the broadcast. Just a single in that over. 

Beardman is back. Has been a very quite period of play from both teams. OUT! Arshad is bowled. That nipped back in slightly. Arshad is taken aback by the pace there though. A great delivery.

Change in bowling, off-spinner Tom Campbell into the attack. Starts well, just four runs off the over. 

There has been no respite for Pakistan here. Runs have dried up from both ends and quick wickets haven’t helped either. Another one run over by Macmillan. 

Harjas has bowled well here. Hasn’t allowed Pakistan batters to squeeze runs off his overs. Another three-run over. 

Macmillan bowls another tight over. Just three singles off it. Boundaries haven’t come in a long time for Pakistan, nearly 10 overs. 

Harjas continues. Five runs off the over. 

OUT! Macmillan strikes! Quicker, fuller, Hassan goes for a sweep, misses it and is struck in front. Pakistan in huge trouble now. Four down for not-so-much.

Beardman for his fifth over. Awais takes a quick single, survives a direct hit and the ball goes for four. Five runs off overthrows in Pakistan’s basket. Six runs off the over. 

Straker into his fifth over. OUT! Saad Baig is gone, caught at slips. Slightly fuller but not a driving length. Pakistan captain went for it and paid the price.

Finally, Australia bowling to a right hand batter in this game. Jaffa by Straker! On the length and it nips away from the right hander, just past the outside edge. 

Beardman is back, replaces Vidler. Mixing his lengths. He has good pace and it beating the batters. Another good over, three runs off it. 

Australia continues to have just two fielders outside the ring. DROPPED! Straker induces an outside edge off Saad’s bat, goes towards first slip who had to jump but isn’t able to grab it. Pakistan captain survives. It was a hard slash by Saad off length when he got an edge. Shows the desperation of Pakistan batters to keep the scoreboard ticking. Two singles in that over. 

Vidler for his sixth over. Awais gets another full ball and this time he hits it straight past the bowler for four. Vidler has mixed his lengths in this over. The attack still remains stumps to stumps. 

Straker continues to challenge the outside edge on length. After tackling hard lengths for five balls, Awais finally gets a half-volley outside off and he drives it for four towards covers to end the over. 

Vidler into his fifth over now. Shahzaib still trying to time his shots. Hasn’t looked comfortable so far. OUT! Shahzaib falls. Fuller ball, outside off, goes for a slash but straight to point.

Consistency was the set up for that dismissal. Kept bowling the hard lengths and batters were forced to find a way to keep the scoreboard ticking. Just a single in that over. 

Vidler continues. Continues to bowl the length ball and taking the ball into the left handers. Shahzaib is looking to get a move on now. Unable to so far. Missed his pull on the last ball as well. 

Change in bowling. Right arm pacer Tom Straker into the attack now. Not much out there for the bowlers so far, forcing them to pull their lengths early. Just one run from the over. 

That’s a terrific pull by Shamyl off Vidler. Knew it was going to be short, waited for it and hit it very fine off the fine leg fielder and gets a boundary. Now Vidler has moved his line to fifth stump, challenging the outside edge. Ends the over with another glorious boundary! A touch fuller and Shamyl drives it towards covers. 

Beardman has decided to continue bowling around the wicket. Consistency with the hard lengths has made it difficult for Pakistan batters to open their arms. Now Beardman is back over the wicket, wide off the crease. Posing a tough challenge for the openers. 

Vidler bowling the hard lengths. Both bowlers trying to keep the ball in the stump line. Has worked so far. Just one run off the over. 

Beardman bowling very wide off the crease, bringing ball into the left handers now. Now round the wicket ALMOST gets Shahzaib out! Short and wide, Shahzaib cuts it and the fielder at point stretches himself up, gets his hand on it but can’t grab it. First boundary of the innings by Shamyl. Full on the pads and it flicks it in the air towards midwicket for four. 

Callum Vidler, right arm pacer, from the other end. An appeal on the second ball for caught behind. Down the leg, Shahzaib tries to guide it but misses, keeper appeals but umpire isn’t interested. Slight miscommunication between the two batters as Shahzaib wanted to a quick single and was halfway down the pitch before he was sent back by his partner at the non-strikers’ end. Just a single in that over. 

Right arm pacer Mahli Beardman opens the bowling for Australia. Shamyl opens the account for Pakistan with a single towards third man on the second ball. Hint of swing for Beardman, taking the ball away from the left handers. Double on the last man makes it three runs off the first over.
